Lyonshare Studios was originally formed as a graphic design firm in 1977 by Sallie Lyons, and reorganized in 2005 as Lyonshare Studios, LLC, a woman owned company in Virginia. The firm now features Gerald Leo Lyons as a chief designer with 40 years experience in design, cartography, and illustration. Mr. Lyons managed and provided graphic services for aviation planning, surface transportation, civil engineering, environmental planning, airspace planning, airfield simulation, economic studies, and over 50 airport master planning studies at HNTB Corporation for 35 years. Mr. Lyons' recent work in ground transportation planning includes a parking, traffic, and security study for Judiciary Square, a traffic study on Maine Avenue vicinity roads, and a parking and traffic study for the Adams Morgan Area, in Washington, D.C
